Move over Jennifer, there is a new “ANNESTON” in town. Anneston Pisayavong is a singer-songwriting, dancing, and acting triple threat from Moorpark, California. The 19-year-old is of mixed Lao, Thai, and Chinese heritage.

Anneston specializes in covering groovy pop music and creating R&B original songs. Singing English, Thai, and Lao songs, her music can be found on all streaming platforms. Her most recent performance was at the inaugural Sabaidee Fest, a festival dedicated to preserving Southeast Asian heritage.

She also performed at the 2023 Iowa Asian Alliance’s CelebrAsion Festival. One of Anneston’s greatest achievements to date, however, is her placement on Grammy Award-winning artist Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, on his single “Count Me Out”. Transitioning from the music industry to the big screen, Anneston is also in a film called The Harvest, currently circulating in film festivals around the world. Not leaving her musicality behind however, the movie incorporates two of her songs in its soundtrack.
